Simple and Convenient Returns Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchases from Pets Own Us. If, for any reason, you're not entirely happy with your item(s), you have the option to return any unused product to us within 30 days of receiving it for a full refund or exchange.

Simply reach out to us within the first 30 days of receiving your item, and we'll provide you with straightforward instructions for the return process.

Please note that returned items must be unused and returned in their original packaging, in a condition suitable for resale. We'll gladly repair or replace any faulty goods within 30 days of delivery. Customer satisfaction is our top priority, and you can check out our reviews to see why.

Unused condition allows you to inspect the item as you would in a shop, out of the box, to confirm its suitability. It doesn't permit outdoor use or any signs of use, such as pet hair, marks, scents or any sign of usage.

Right to Cancel

You are entitled to terminate this contract within a 30-day period without providing any explanation, provided that the item(s) remain(s) unused and its packaging is in a condition suitable for resale as new.

To exercise your right to cancel, you need to notify us of your decision to terminate this contract through a clear statement sent via email to support@petsownus.co.uk

All products must be returned to us in unused condition, with the packaging in a resalable (like-new) state within 30 days of you exercising your right to cancel.

Effects of Cancellation

If you decide to terminate this contract within the 30-day cancellation period, we will refund all payments you've made, including delivery expenses. However, if the return is based on change of mind or personal suitability, and not due to faults or damages, a collection fee of £18.95 will be deducted from the refund amount, alternatively you may arrange the return at your own expense, but notification of this needs to be communicated to ourselves. Furthermore, we reserve the right to deduct from the refund any decrease in the value of the goods caused by unnecessary handling, such as if they are returned in a used or damaged condition.

We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than –

(a) 14 days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied, or

(b) (if earlier) 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the goods, or

We'll reimburse you through the same payment method you used for the original transaction, unless you've specifically arranged otherwise. In any case, you won't be charged any fees for the reimbursement. We might hold off on reimbursing until we've received the goods back or you've provided proof of sending them back, whichever happens first.

 If an order is declined without prior confirmation from ourselves, there is a risk of it getting lost in transit. In such cases, we won't reimburse the cost of the items, as the responsibility for any liability shifts to the individual who declined the delivery. Any losses or damages resulting from lost parcels will be the responsibility of the individual who placed the order.

You'll need to cover the direct expenses for returning the goods if the item isn't faulty.

Upon receipt, we'll furnish you with the correct return address.

Damaged Or Faulty Items Received By You

If you happen to receive a product that is damaged or faulty, kindly inform us within 48 hours of receiving it so we can assist you promptly. In such cases, we retain the right to either repair, replace or refund the item, depending on feasibility and merits of the fault.
